Buses are provided by private companies for the local Exeter area and also the longer distance services.
The local buses ply the main arterial routes into and out of the city, running early morning until late evening with frequency depending on the time of day.
There are further routes which cover outlying towns and villages. The local buses can be boarded at any stop and the Central Bus Station for more distant destinations is off Paris Street just a short walk to the City Centre and the new Princesshay Shopping Centre. Saver fares are available which reduce the cost of exploring the City and outlying areas.
There are also a number of Park & Ride services with car parks about 2-3 miles distant from the City Centre.
