Exeter is situated in the South West of England and is a city, district and the County Town of Devon. It is located approximately 3 hours drive from London and is on what is popularly known as the M5 corridor. Travelling to the South West, the M5 motorway ends at Exeter, and dual carriageways continue as the A38 to Plymouth and beyond, or a much improved A30 for easy access to Cornwall.
There is a City population of just over 100,000. Apart from the local attractions of Exeter including the museum, cathedral with a 1000 year history, river walks, and shopping, it has easy access to many coastal towns. It has 2 main railway stations, a local bus service and a central bus station with national services to all parts of the country.
